A European network where every club exchanges every year
Eurokayak Experience connects kayak polo clubs from all over Europe through a growing network of international exchanges.
Our goal: that every year, each club travels abroad with a team of 8 players to train, play, and build lasting connections with other European clubs.
And the best part?
It’s almost completely free, thanks to funding from the Erasmus+ programme.
From the application to the final report, EuroSport Experience handles everything, so you can focus on paddling, learning, and enjoying the adventure.
There is no limit to how many clubs can benefit from the programme.
The more clubs join, the stronger and more connected European kayak polo becomes.

How do the exchanges work?
The EuroKayak Experience exchange project is aimed at kayak polo clubs — or clubs with a kayak polo section — based in European Union countries.
Each exchange runs in two-year cycles. For each project, three clubs are grouped into a network. In the first year, each club hosts a visiting team and travels once. In the second year, they host the third club and travel to the one they haven’t visited yet. After two years, a new cycle can begin with different clubs.
EuroSport Experience is responsible for managing all administrative documentation on behalf of each club and oversees the complete travel planning process.
It also facilitates the matching and coordination of clubs participating in the exchange.

What does Erasmus+ cover?
- ✈️ International flights
- 🛏️ Accommodation
- 🍽️ Daily meals
- 🚌 Local transport
- 🗺️ All scheduled activities
- 📋 EuroSport Experience project management and support
These are all the expenses covered by the Erasmus+ grant.
The overall budget also includes the coordination and management fees of EuroSport Experience, so the club does not have to pay anything to take part in this exchange.
Which Clubs can Join the Eurokayak Experience Exchange Network?
Any canoe polo club interested in participating in international exchanges is welcome to join the Eurokayak Experience network. The only requirements are to have members within the eligible age range and to be based in a European Union member country. There is no maximum number of participating clubs — the more clubs involved, the greater the reach and value of the exchange across Europe.
Steps to participate
To join the EUKE network and participate in the project, the following requirements and steps must be considered:
Steps to Follow:
1.
· Application Submission:
Interested clubs must complete a form to apply for registration and designate a contact person within the club, who will serve as the primary liaison between EUKE and the club throughout the project.
2.
· Signing the Contract:
· The interested club receives a PDF with project details. After reviewing the information, the club decides whether to sign the collaboration contract.
· Once signed, Eurokayak Experience (EUKÉ) begins project preparation and the next steps.
3.
· Drafting, Approval, and Coordination:
EUKE manages the creation and refinement of each project, designed for a two-year period and subject to approval by the European Union. Once approved, EUKE collaborates with host clubs to set dates, coordinate logistics, and ensure an optimal experience for all participants.
4.
· Participant Selection and Experience:
With all details confirmed, clubs select their participants, who will enjoy a cultural and sporting exchange, fostering international connections that may be repeated and expanded in future projects.
